You may remember that Roland Jourdain took part in the Ansel operation on Le Havre Beach on the eve of the start of the Transat Jacques Vabre.

The day’s mission was to make Le Havre Beach cleaner than clean. And it has to be said that it was no easy task. Quite a different story compared to Concarneau Beach, which is regularly cleaned by the Ansel Association. The rubbish collected on Le Havre Beach included a few surprises: a tire, several sheets of metal, but above all, tens of thousands of cotton buds and polystyrene balls.
In all, the volunteers collected more than 300 kilograms of waste.

Thank you to the entire Ansel team for this very beautiful slideshow.
