You’d gladly come back for more of “Océans”. Open at the Jardin d’Acclimatation in Paris (France) until March 10, 2010, this showcase exhibition of the feature film by Jacques Perrin is open to visitors of all ages.Ultra-sophisticated equipmentVisitors to the exhibition can learn all about the ultra-sophisticated equipment used by the film crew. HD case, underwater camera to track the dolphins’ careering through the water: the sophistication of all this up-to-the-minute equipment is one of the secrets behind the beauty of the images offered up to us by Jacques Perrin. The making-of of the scene with the great white shark also enables us to understand better how all this new technology was used.Entertaining and accessible to all In addition to its technical aspects, the exhibition also has several models of extinct species that were used in the film. This entertaining section, particularly appreciated by the younger visitors, also includes a sound wall of the species in Perrin’s composition. The Jardin d’Acclimatation will also host part of the film crew on Sundays, February 21 and 28, at 3:00 pm, for two exceptional screenings of the making-of. An opportunity to learn more about this incredible film that was four years in the making.Steven Lambert
